I'm not sure how much it could have been influenced by Farscape. The characters were all brought together in the comic book years before the movie in 2008, and while the team was brought together after Farscape every one of the characters predates Farscape by decades (the most recent are Rocket and Star-Lord who came out in 1976, oldest is Groot who appeared in some sci-fi comic from the 50s or early 60s). Ronan was from 1960s Fantastic Four. The characters in the comics were just a bit different than they are in the movie, too. For instance, Star-Lord and Gamorra didn't have much romance between them, I think Star-Lord was with Kitty Pryde. Star-Lord was more of a cocky warrior than a pop-culture loving rogue until they revamped him a bit after the movie came out so he dresses and acts a bit more like Chris Pratt's version.
It's entirely possible that director James Gunn was a fan of Farscape, saw that a lot of the characters in the GG comic lined up with those in Farscape and tweaked them (especially Star-Lord's character and background) a bit more so they fit even more than they did, but my guess is the initial resemblance was coincidence.
